Supply Chain Procurement Manager

We're looking for a sharp, commercially driven Supply Chain & Procurement Manager to own how OMHU sources, negotiates and scales its product. This is a high-impact role with a clear mission: secure the best possible cost, terms and supplier relationships to maximize margin, without compromising quality or timelines.

You'll manage suppliers, protect our margins and timelines, and negotiate hard. If you know cost structures inside out, enjoy building strong manufacturer relationships across borders, and get satisfaction from turning a good deal into a great one, this role is built for you.

About OMHU

OMHU CPH is a fast-growing Danish design and furniture brand with international ambitions, best known for the TEDDY sofa. We're a D2C e-commerce company with global sales and physical showrooms in selected major cities, built on strong design, a great customer experience and operational excellence. We move fast, decide quickly and take ownership, and we're building an international furniture company with a high-performance culture.

About the role

You'll own OMHU's supply chain strategy and procurement end to end: from scoping and sourcing suppliers to negotiating the agreements that determine our product costs and margins. You'll be responsible for timelines and product costs, build long-term manufacturer relationships, and continuously benchmark suppliers so we're never dependent on a single source.

You'll work closely with our Product Developer to align on materials and specs and find cost-saving alternatives, and partner with SC operations and logistics to set up the systems, supplier network and product flow that let us scale. This is a hands-on role with real ownership and direct commercial impact.

Who we are looking for

  • 3–5+ years in sourcing or buying, ideally in furniture, interiors or a similar product category
  • A strong negotiation track record — this is critical
  • Deep understanding of cost structures and how to build and challenge them
  • Comfortable working internationally across factories, time zones and cultures
  • Data-driven and commercially aggressive
  • Solid grasp of supply chain operations and basic logistics
  • Strong product planning skills
  • Bonus: previous experience setting up a 3PL

Your key responsibilities

  • Own supply chain strategy, including delivering manufacturing agreements
  • Lead supplier scoping (together with Product Development), sourcing and negotiation
  • Build and manage manufacturer relationships
  • Take responsibility for timelines and product costs
  • Negotiate unit cost, MOQs, payment terms and lead times
  • Continuously benchmark suppliers to keep options open and pricing sharp
  • Work with the Product Developer to align on materials and specs and find cost-saving alternatives
  • Manage cost breakdowns and margin targets
  • Support scaling through volume discounts and long-term agreements
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks (capacity, delays, dependencies)
  • Work with SC operations to set up EDI and the supplier network
  • Collaborate with logistics to set up product flow

For existing products, you'll also handle:

  • Contract and partner relationship management, including QBRs and KPI follow-ups
  • Procurement and planning
  • Cost optimizations
  • Supplier evaluation

How we'll measure success

  • Gross margin improvement
  • Cost reductions over time
  • Supplier reliability
  • Payment terms improvement and the resulting cash flow impact
  • Speed of sourcing new suppliers

What we offer

  • A central role in a fast-growing international design brand, with real ownership and room to shape how we source and scale
  • Thorough onboarding in our products, suppliers, systems and ways of working
  • Close collaboration with ambitious, experienced colleagues
  • A high-performance culture with direct feedback, quick decisions and genuine personal development
  • The chance to work with modern tools, technology and AI in a commercial e-commerce environment
  • Lunch arrangement, health insurance, pension and regular social events

Practicalities

  • Workplace: Copenhagen NV, in-office.
  • Type: Full-time
  • Start date: As soon as possible
