'OMHU x Carrara Studio' is a partnership between OMHU and the founder, and artist Valeria Sanzharovets, taking place in her studio in Riga.
Valeria discovered art from a young age. Graduated from the Bachelor program in Interior Design in Latvian University, she worked closely with residential and commercial projects. Following her passion for the art and interior design she continued to work on the everyday objects while discovering human nature. Since a few years, her artworks range from bold statement makers to subtle accents. Additionally, Valeria works on a commission basis, creating bespoke pieces tailored to the specific needs and visions of her clients' projects.
Valeria prefers a light-colored sofa because it complements her sharp, black-and-white aesthetic. This choice enhances the sense of space and tranquility in a room, providing a neutral backdrop that allows her bold, statement-making artworks to stand out.
