Customer Care Specialist

OMHU is looking for a structured onsite customer care specialist for our office in Copenhagen. Remote work is not possible. We are searching for someone who can take ownership of our customer service experience, handle a high volume of daily inquiries, and ensure a personal and professional approach to all customers. If you have experience in customer service, are passionate about furniture and design, and love working with technology, this job is for you!

Who are we looking for?

You are an experienced customer service professional who thrives in a busy environment that requires structure and overview. You have a curiosity about technology, and using tools such as ChatGPT comes naturally to you. Additionally, you have a strong understanding of how to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and resolve customer inquiries efficiently – without compromising quality. If you also have an interest in design and furniture, you will fit perfectly at OMHU.

Your key competencies:

To thrive at OMHU, it is important that you can handle a busy day-to-day through a combination of strong communication skills and a sharp eye for customer needs.
We imagine you have the following competencies:

  • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience, preferably within an e-commerce company.

  • Knowledge of customer service platforms such as Gorgias, Zendesk or similar – experience with Gorgias is an advantage.

  • Fluent English is required (written and spoken). Additional languages, especially German or French, are considered a strong advantage.

  • Ability to handle a high volume of inquiries (between 50-100 daily) and ensure quick and correct resolutions.

  • A proactive approach to tasks with a focus on improving processes, auto-responses, and macros to create a better customer experience.

  • Comfortable using AI tools like ChatGPT to answer inquiries and resolve challenges.

What will you do?

  • Respond to and resolve customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat through Gorgias.

  • Use AI tools such as ChatGPT daily to efficiently handle routine inquiries, optimize macros, and enhance customer satisfaction

  • Handle inquiries on social media and ensure a consistent tone and quality of communication.

  • Proactively optimize and structure our customer service processes to create a better experience for customers.

  • Work across the organization to ensure that customer inquiries are resolved in collaboration with other departments in OMHU.
